What would you like to hear on Green Day's next album?

What are everyone's hopes for the next album by Green Day? As of now, there haven't been any official announcements yet, and it may be several months until we get any information, but I wanted to ask what you guys would prefer their next album to sound like.

I hope they go back to an American Idiot-style tone, with songs similar to Jesus of Suburbia or Letterbomb. The production on Revolution Radio could have been better, and I'm hoping to hear a better overall sound on the next album.

What's your favorite album?

I asked this before a while back, but I wanted to see if anyone else had an opinion about this. What is everyone's favorite Green Day album?

For me, it would have to be Dookie. That album perfectly captures the band in their prime and practically defines the genre of punk rock, especially since they were such a big influence to it at the time. Any opinions?

Which song has the most impressive drum work?

What do you guys think is the song that best showcases Tré Cool's drumming skills? In my opinion, Burnout and Bang Bang are some of the most impressive songs I've ever heard in terms of drumming. The drum solos in each of those songs sure show off some intense skill - Tré Cool is a pro behind those drums.

Which song has your favorite guitar solo?

Everyone knows that the guitar solo is an integral part of a song - so it got me wondering, which song do you guys think has the best guitar solo? In my opinion, the solo in Give Me Novacaine is one of the best guitar solos I've ever heard from them. What does everyone think?

Best song from each album?

What do you guys think the best song on each album is? For me, making this list was a little bit tough because there are so many great songs on each of their albums, but in my opinion it goes:

• 39/Smooth: Going to Pasalacqua
• Kerplunk: Who Wrote Holden Caulfield?
• Dookie: Longview
• Insomniac: Stuart and the Ave.
• Nimrod: Prosthetic Head
• Warning: Castaway
• Shenanigans: Desensitized
• American Idiot: Whatsername
• 21st Century Breakdown: American Eulogy
• ¡Uno!: Rusty James
• ¡Dos!: Lazy Bones
• ¡Tre!: X-Kid
• Revolution Radio: Forever Now

Any opinions?

What is your favorite music video?

Of all the music videos Green Day has released, which one do you consider to be your favorite? Personally, my favorite is Jesus of Suburbia. Compared to just listening to the song, after you watch the music video, you gain a whole new perspective on the story of St. Jimmy, and it really makes you wish that there were more music videos from American Idiot to expand more on his story throughout the album. Anyway, those are my ideas. Any thoughts?

What is the most underrated song by Green Day?

What is your guys' opinions on what Green Day's most underrated song is? I have several of them, one of them being Misery. It was really different than anything else they've done at the time, and it was a stylistic change that sounded great in my opinion. Another underrated song is Whatsername-- it just puts together so many great elements: the tempo, the progression, and Billie Joe's vocal style to create one of the best tracks on American Idiot, in my opinion. What does everyone else think?
